KEYNOTE & MOTIVATION SPEAKING TOPIC

Are You a Scorekeeper, a Referee, or a Coach?

Leadership Skills that Will Increase Your Income

This seminar compares and contrasts three jobs at a college basketball game. Scorekeepers have a pretty easy job. All they have to do is keep track of who does what. That’s why they don’t get paid much; anyone can do that job. Referees have a much harder job, requiring a thorough understanding of the rules of the game as well as the ability to apply them fairly based on circumstances, so they make decent money. But, the two highest paid people in the building are the coaches. That job requires a complicated mix of skills like team-building, strategy, recruiting, and development. If I asked your employees which one of these best describe the role you play in their lives, what would they say? In this dynamic seminar, attendees will learn about some of the skills needed in modern leadership like:

  • Talent Acquisition

  • Flexibility

  • Navigating and Driving Change

  • Executing with Fairness

  • Driving Engagement.

If you are in a management role, the quickest way to increase your income and advance your career is to develop the skills and abilities of the people on your team. Bringing out the best in them is the secret to your success.
